Overall Score 10    Scenery 10    Atmosphere 10    Organisation 10    Value for money 10    Did you enjoy the race? Loved it even with the hills – the weather was perfect this year and the supporters were fabulous.     Did you run a personal best? Second best time for this course so very happy.    Did you raise money for charity? No    Will you be back? Most definitely

Comments: Well organised and effective half marathon course well marshalled with friendly and helpful people and lovely water stations too. Proud and lucky that is my home half marathon and I will continue to run it year on year as long as I am fit and well to do so. The family love the whole event and the children were disappointed I wasn’t able to do the fun run with them as I was running the half.

Comments: One of the best organised half marathons - although it's a challenge to complete, it's well worth it.

Hello, here's my race review. I've run a few half marathons near Bristol and in Wiltshire and don't normally do the feedback, but having had Chippenham take a year out this year and then reading that Swindon might have also cancelled due to lack of sponsors, I'm kicked into action to say thanks, what a great event you held on Sunday! Hope it's held next year as usual.

Overall Score 10    Scenery 10 Beautiful    Atmosphere 10    Organisation 10     Value for money 10    Did you enjoy the race? Yes    Did you run a personal best? No, but improved previous time on this course    Did you raise money for charity? Not this time    Will you be back? Yes
Comments: Really enjoyed the day, fantastic running conditions. Much preferred course in the countryside to other city half marathons. Yes there are hills, but it does make the event memorable! Huge thanks to organisers, volunteers, marshals for making it work so well. Special mention to the first water station on the way out, beautiful, great party atmosphere! Collecting race packs on the day worked OK, though it would be different if it rains. Loads of toilets, plus some out on the course near water stations which is really good. Pace makers were a brilliant help. Thanks to 1 hour 57 minute people! I'll definitely be back.

Overall Score 9    Scenery 10    Atmosphere 9    Organisation 9 pretty faultless     Value for money 8     Did you enjoy the race? yes, but I should have trained more    Did you run a personal best? no     Did you raise money for charity? no     Will you be back? yes

Comments: The best part was when Derek Benfield gave me (presumably only the very slow runners like me!) some tangerine segments and a jelly baby - on the way home, just before The Sun Inn, when I needed some encouragement to go back up Marlborough Rd. Looking forward to next year

PS, I already have a standing order with BHF, in memory of a close work colleague who died too young, of a heart related issue.

Overall Score 8/10    Scenery – Stimulating    Atmosphere – Brilliant with so many villagers out supporting    Organisation – Good, clear signage etc    Value for money – Good    Did you enjoy the race? – Yes    Did you run a personal best? – 10mins off last year’s course time    Did you raise money for charity? – No    Will you be back? – Possibly but only because I live in Brighton and the drive is a long way even though I visit my Mum
Comments: The map could be better, maybe similar to the Beachy Head one which in plan view simplifies the course and provides an appreciation of elevation

Comments: great race, beat my previous best time at Swindon by 25 minutes! Great organisation and great atmosphere for a lot of the route but not as many people heading out onto the ridgeway (as expected) but overall thoroughly enjoyed and will be back next year, thanks!

Comments: Very well organised. I have a few observations. The start and first mile needs a little more room given the number of runners. A few more loos would not have gone amiss and it would have been nice to see a provisional scoreboard with provisional times in the village.
